Transparency about our role, our master agency relationships, how we are compensated, and what you should know about working with an independent technology services brokerage.
1. Our Role
Interstellar I.S. LLC is an independent technology services brokerage. We are not a carrier, service provider, manufacturer, or direct seller of telecommunications, IT, cloud, or cybersecurity services. We are a broker that helps businesses identify, source, contract, and manage relationships with third-party suppliers across these categories.
2. Master Agency Relationships
We operate as a sub-agent through master agency relationships with technology services distributors ("master agencies"), including:
- Sandler Partners
- Telarus
Through these master agency relationships, we have access to a portfolio of approximately 503+ technology suppliers across seven categories. We are not an authorized direct representative of any individual carrier or service provider, except to the extent such authorization is extended through our master agencies.
3. How We Are Compensated
Interstellar I.S. is compensated by suppliers and master agencies, not by clients. When you procure services from a supplier through us, that supplier (or master agency) pays a commission to us based on the contract value. This commission may be paid as a one-time amount, a residual percentage of monthly revenue for the life of the contract, or a combination of both, depending on the supplier and product category.
You do not pay Interstellar I.S. any fee for our advisory or brokerage services. The cost of our services is built into the supplier's standard pricing and is not added on top of your contracted rate.
4. Independence and Objectivity
We are paid based on contract value with the supplier you select, not based on which supplier you select within a category. Different suppliers within the same category typically offer comparable commission structures. As a result, we have no material economic incentive to recommend one supplier over another within a category, and we recommend suppliers based on fit, value, and outcome — not based on commission structure.
Where commission structures meaningfully differ between suppliers in a way that could create the appearance of conflict, we will disclose this to you during the engagement.
5. Contracting Relationship
When you select a supplier through our brokerage, the contract for services is between you and the supplier (or, in some cases, between you and the master agency, depending on the supplier's program). Interstellar I.S. is not a party to your service contract and does not assume any service-delivery obligations.
The supplier's terms and conditions, service level agreements, billing practices, and dispute resolution procedures govern the service relationship. We can, and do, advocate on your behalf in disputes with suppliers, but final resolution is between you and the supplier.
6. Lifecycle Support
For the life of any contract sourced through Interstellar I.S., we will:
- Serve as your single point of contact for billing inquiries, service issues, and change requests
- Escalate to the supplier on your behalf when needed
- Re-evaluate the market on your behalf 12-15 months before contract renewal
This lifecycle support is provided at no additional cost to you. It is part of how we earn the right to serve you on subsequent renewals.
7. Veteran-Owned Business Status
Interstellar I.S. LLC is a veteran-owned business, founded and led by a U.S. veteran. This status reflects the founder's military service and is included for transparency; it does not affect the terms of our brokerage services.
8. Colorado Registration
Interstellar I.S. LLC is a Colorado limited liability company in good standing with the Colorado Secretary of State. Our registered office is located at 11150 E Mississippi Ave, STE 300, Aurora, CO 80012.
